Abstract
The paper aimed to identify the role of organization mindfulness in achieving the quality of general education institutions in Damietta. The paper depends on five dimensions to measure the role of organizational mindfulness (flexibility, relation to objectives, quality standards, simplifying procedures and caring for processes and performance, investment of human resources and experience). To achieve the research objectives, the descriptive method was used and a questionnaire composed of 30 items was conducted to a sample of 252 principals and qualiy coordinators from five department (Ezbet El-Borg, Kafr Saad, Kafr ElBattikh, , and New Damietta). The research concluded that the role of organizational mindfulness was very high. Also the results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the means of the responses towards the role of organizational mindfulness according to the variable of training courses in favor of those who got training courses, and according to the variable of department between Kafr Saad and Ezbet El-Borg in favor of Ezbet El-Borg, and according to the variable of stage in favor of the primary school. The paper concluded with some recommendations for example the necessity of increasing the level of mindfulness to to find solutions to the quality obstacles, and finding new techniques for evaluating the performance of school principals and quality coordinators
