Abstract

Within this paper, we will seek to provide a critical and analytical study of the moral perception of contemporary Western societies, by examining the texts of Nancy Fraser and Oskar Neget, and how each of them bet on transcending the Habermasian perception of the bourgeois public space and sought to establish a new vision about the public space and the ethics that must be control it. From there, we will go through the interrogation of Fraser's texts to examine the post-bourgeois public space and understand the morals that govern it. Then, with Neget, we will explore the concept of the opposition public space that he advocated as an alternative to the Habermassian public space, and we will discuss the moral and political values that control and direct it.
