Abstract

The sciences that are most deserving of knowledge and learning, and those most worthy of being reserved and published, are those sciences that have been in-depth and subjected to investigation and scrutiny. Since that is the case, it is not enough for the specialist to be familiar with the methodologies and techniques of scientific research, but he should also be familiar with the origins and roots of scientific research so as not to fall into the trap of scientific naivety or superficiality. Design, like other sciences, needs to reconsider its basic concepts that had formed its core, and to question what has become of them.

The design arose in the light of what was proclaimed by the independent principles of a number of scientific disciplines. Perhaps the career in which he excelled, especially “sociologists” and “industrial psychologists”, is one of the most important of these principles, and the basic and detailed concept in design science. In addition, because the concept emerged from the plurality and the difference resulting from the intersection of a group of disciplines, it is inevitable to search for the manifestations of this cross-fertilization, and to reveal its manifold branches.
