مبادئ ومنطلقات لبناء مدرسة عربية في فهم تاريخنا وكتابته
الملخص
The aim of this research is an attempt to argue the movement of modern Arab history throughout the Arab world, by a horizontal view of the events of this history, taking into account the national specificity of each Arab country. This is, from our point view, is the correct scientific method that is compatible with events and facts.
With misfortunes and setbacks of the Arab Nation and its exposure to dangers aimed to distort and obliterate its identity, many Arab historians have found the need to write the Arab history with a new vision, away from the effects of foreign scholars and their approaches that have tainted our history. As innovators, we believe that the Nation is facing the challenges and tribulations of the rupture, and the national duty requires us to reveal our authentic historical truth and bring it to be a factor in the new awaking of the Arab Nation to get rid of repression, and from here we need a new vision and a new reading of our Arab history.
Among the problems that we discussed in this research is (regionalism) in writing history that reached an attempt to divide the patriotic history itself. We also discussed the concept of (authenticity and communication) in the history of the Arab Nation,, and the interconnectedness between west and the east of the Arab World, with evidence and proofs. Also we discussed the topic of (Arabism and Islam) and their civilizational bonds and the importance of this link in the awakens of the Nation and the evocation of its bright history.
Many historians and history researchers have discussed the problem of rewriting Arab history. They tried to diagnose the reasons that call for rewriting Arab history, and suggested solutions to them, without specifying the principles and main foundations that constitute a basis for rewriting Arab history. In this research, we will try to summarize and discuss most of these views and perspectives, leading to a proposal for the foundations of an Arab school in understanding and writing Arab history.
